What Makes a British Labrador Different?
One of the questions we're asked most often is, "What's the difference between a British Labrador and an English or American Labrador?"

One of our favorite qualities is something trainers call biddability.
Biddability refers to a dog's natural willingness to work with and respond to its handler. A highly biddable dog enjoys learning, wants to cooperate, and naturally looks to its owner for guidance. It's one of the biggest reasons British Labradors excel as family companions and why they respond so well to training.

Last summer we were offered an opportunity to participate in their VIP program where we would be delivered a 6 month old crate-trained, potty trained, socialized British Lab that had completed their puppy training programs. Even better, they would select a pup from the litter that would best fit in with our family, especially Willis. They chose sweet Tessie for us and even suggested we bring Willis to them a couple weeks before Tessie was coming home.
At move-in time they delivered to us both Willis and Tessie who were already buddies and had experience playing and leash walking together. Jason and Tiffany spent the afternoon going over potential issues in our home and working on transfer training. Tessie very quickly fell into our family routine. Her addition to our home has brought us joy at a level we had not anticipated. While Willis and Tessie are still silly pups, they both have the training to respond to basic commands that afford them manners in our home. Jason and Tiffany clearly adore what they do and continue to be available to handle our questions and concerns as they arise.

Faq
Frequently Asked Questions
The dogs we breed undergo Hip, Elbow & Eye testing. They are also DNA tested for Centronuclear Myopathy, Exercise Induced-Collapse, Progressive Retinal Atrophy/Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration and Skeletal Dysplasia.
Our VIP puppy families receive the first two picks, followed by families in reservation order. Reservations are held with a non-refundable deposit of $500. For more information on our VIP Puppy program click here.
Puppy selections take place at six weeks of age. Because the health of our puppies is our main concern, we do not allow visitors. Selections will be made by reviewing pictures, videos and our insights on the personality characteristics of the puppies.
Puppies are ready to go home when they are 8 weeks old.
